When does NFL season start? NFL Week 1 schedule, dates, games, TV channels, how to watch

The 2024-25 NFL season will be here before we know it.

It's never too early to start preparing for the games.

And the first week of the season includes some very big games.

NFL Week 1 kicks off with the Baltimore Ravens at the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football on Sept. 5 before featuring the Green Bay Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night Sept. 6.

Sunday, Sept. 8 features 13 games, including the Houston Texans at the Indianapolis Colts early, the Dallas Cowboys at Cleveland Browns late and the Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football.

The Week 1 NFL schedule concludes with the New York Jets at San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football on Sept. 9.
